Did You Know?

The last time the Cubs have won a series against a team that currently has a winning record occurred against the Florida Marlins. Oh, and the series started on April 30th. Chew on that for awhile and then wonder why we're a mediocre team.

Of course, this isn't all bad considering the bulk of our remaining games are against sub-.500 teams, but still. Even if we take the division, do you really feel confident about a playoff run? How many playoff teams are under .500? I'm not sure I can emotionally handle another exit from the postseason by way of a broom. Should that happen, the hell with it, I'll follow Bon Iver on tour and pick up a cutting habit.
