Death League Update: Michael Crichton

Michael Crichton unexpectedly passed away yesterday at the age of 66. He will probably be best remembered for his novel 'Jurassic Park' however I enjoyed several other pieces of his work that were later turned into crappy movies. Sphere, Congo, The Andromeda Strain, and Airframe are all sitting on my shelves. And I actually read them!

Crichton, a medical doctor, also teamed up with NBC to create a little-known show called ER; a series that has been running long enough to where it should be logging hours with a drivers permit. I saw a preview for the finale and they're bringing Anthony Edwards back. What? Didn't he die? Several times? I think they're bringing him back with DNA from the blood inside a mosquito that's been trapped in amber since season 6. That would really make Crichton proud.

Seven points for me and a stranglehold on second place going into the home stretch.
