With Rammy tending to personal matters (his cockfighting empire) back in the DR, forcing DeRosa to man the hot corner for a few games, our own Thunder Matt was forced into action last night. And the Prodigal Son responded, with 2 RBI and 2 doubles, the second of which would have probably been a home run if for not the cavernous dimensions of Padre Island or whatever the name of the park is.
Hopefully this will convince Sweet Lou (as the kids call him) to stick with the red-headed wonderboy for a few more games. Consistent ABs are the only way to get into a groove. They also get you into heaven.
