Fight Club

There's really nothing we can tell you about Saturday's fight that hasn't already been said. Hopefully Lee's suspension is no more than five games. No punches landed and he's the one that received a pitch in the ear. At least they're showing some energy, and don't seem destined as the "lovable losers" this year. I would imagine a lot of that credit goes to Piniella behind the scenes. The excellent starting pitching to this point (with the exception of Rich Hill today) and the emergence of the French Connection (Fontenot and Theriot) give us a glimmer of hope for an entertaining summer. Second place in the NL Central in the middle of June? I'll take that.
